What is the Cleanscapes Program?​

Howard County residents are eligible for reimbursement for stormwater projects that help reduce pollution and run-off. You can make an environmental impact and save big by applying for this program. Learn more about the deadlines, requirements, and qualifications to apply on the CleanScapes website. 

How EcoWorks is Involved?

Partnered Contractor

We are eligible contractors for the CleanScapes program. If your project is approved we can help with the proposal, design, and installation of the project.

Projects We Cover

The CleanScapes Program covers a wide variety of stormwater projects, however we specialize in the following:

  • Tree Planting

  • Conservation Gardens

  • Rain Gardens

  • Rain Barrels

  • Dry Wells (limitations apply, inquire for details)

What We Will Do
  • ​Conduct a site visit for the project

  • Conduct a rain garden feasibility assessment, if applicable

  • Develop a design (cost here)

  • Provide support with the Cleanscapes application 

  • Install the project (cost here)

  • ​Provide support with Cleanscapes reporting for reimbursement

UPCOMING DEADLINE

APRIL 1ST, 2026 is the opening for "Site Visitation Request". The site visitation is the first step and spots fill up fast. We suggest you market your calendar and apply on 4/1/26.
