VOLUNTEERING AT SEEDS OF CHANGE

Each adult must sign their own registration form. You can add children as "additional participants" in the form.

​Teens aged 16 & 17 may volunteer without an adult, but their guardian must complete the registration, and add their full name, phone number, and email in the space provided on the form. 

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by their adult. Most activities are not suitable for children under 12. However, families with small children will not be turned away. 

All volunteers who complete the registration must agree to the liability and waiver conditions. 

• Must be 18 or older to consent, or have a guardian sign on your behalf

• Must agree to the liability waiver

• Must agree to the publicity release waiver

We take the safety of our volunteer seriously and expect that all participants listen to the site supervisor during safety instructions. To help you prepare, here are so tips to keep you safe as a volunteer: 

• Wear appropriate clothing for the outdoors

  • MUST wear closed toed shoes, boots, or hiking boots​

  • ​Sturdy pants such as jeans. We don't recommend shorts or thin material ​

• Wear appropriate protection for the weather

  • Cold season: jackets, hats, warm gloves​

  • Warm season: Hat, sunscreen, sunsleeves to protect from sun exposure

• Bring a reusable water bottle, we will provide water to refill 

• Suggested materials for a good time: 

  • Child size gloves if you're bringing children, we only provide adult size gloves​

  • Knee pads if you're sensitive in that area

  • If you have your own special tools you an bring them, just remember to take them home with you. EcoWorks is not responsible for lost tools.
