Volunteer Activities at Holly Hills Fall Festival

Join EcoWorks for volunteer activities during the Holly Hills Fall Festival! Choose one activity or sign up for both to spend the day learning, working outdoors, and helping care for the Holly Hills property.

Volunteers can participate in a morning acorn and nut collection activity focused on growing native trees from seed or an afternoon tree maintenance workshop and hands-on forest care activity. Both opportunities are a great way to learn more about native trees and forest stewardship while contributing to the health of the Holly Hills landscape.

Volunteers may register for one activity or both. Day-of walk-ins are also welcome, but registration is encouraged.

Volunteer Opportunities

🌰 Acorn & Nut Collection | 10:00–11:30 AM

Help collect acorns and other nuts in support of our Gather & Grow efforts. The activity will include a discussion about growing native trees from seed, including air-pruning tables and best practices for starting healthy trees.
