Free Tree Give Away!

Community members can sign up for ONE FREE tree per address.

Trees must be picked up on 10/21 from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Seeds of Change Nursery. The trees will be in 2 to 5-gallon containers and approximately 2-5 feet tall.

They are all native species and, therefore, help to slow down and soak in stormwater, help to sequester carbon, and are beneficial to local pollinators and birds.

Residents are responsible for planting and caring for trees. Residents will be asked to sign a "tree pledge" in exchange for a tree.

Smaller native trees will include Serviceberry, PawPaw, or Redbud.

Larger native shade trees will include Black Gum and White Oak.
