Have you been thinking about ways to make your property more sustainable and environmentally friendly? Do you have flooding issues on your property? Has sheltering in place during the coronavirus pandemic made you think about food scarcity?
In a time when the coronavirus has made social distancing a fact of life, it still is possible to take steps to improve your property. Howard EcoWorks is defining new ways for homeowners to address environmental issues and opportunities within their reach.
Howard EcoWorks specializes in sustainable landscapes and landscaping practices. For a fee of $125 for a private residential property or $175 for a homeowner association property, a cost savings of 25%, you will be joined by EcoWorks’s Landscape Design Manager, Jenny Wienckowski, on a site assessment of your grounds. Jenny will advise you on the following: erosion issues, drainage concerns, tree maintenance recommendations, invasive species management, and potential locations of rain gardens, bayscapes, tree plantings, or even productive crop plants and trees. After the consultation, you will receive a write-up from Jenny documenting next steps that you can take to resolve your issue or start a new project in an environmentally sustainable way.
How Is A Virtual Site Consultation Done?
If you prefer not to meet in person, EcoWorks can provide a virtual consultation service. The virtual site consultation is conducted using videoconferencing. You will need a cellular-enabled device, typically a phone or tablet that has a reversible camera to receive this service. Your device will act as Jenny's eyes during the virtual site visit. For HOA's that may want to have several people participate in the videoconference, please contact Jenny after booking, but prior to your session. Virtual site consultations are available to homeowners for $75 or to homeowner association properties for $125.
To book a virtual site consultation with Jenny, click on the Book A Session: Private Residential or Book A Session: HOA Property link as appropriate. Choose a date and time for the session that suits you. After making your payment, you should receive a separate email with a link to join a Zoom videoconferencing session. At the appointed time, use the Zoom link that you received to enter the session. Jenny will let you in from the virtual waiting room. If you do not receive the email with the Zoom link within a few minutes after booking, please alert us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
